Beyond Borders

It’s with much interest that I’ve been watching the circus and then the outcome of the recent presidential election in the USA. I’m now a little more invested in AU politics since marrying an American.  President elect Obama will be giving weekly you-tube updates from now on (I’m not sure if he’ll keep going once in office). I do have my concerns about this man. Most of these revolve around my stance as it concerns pro life versus pro choice. Only time will tell how that will play out. I do however believe that he has the USA’s best interest at heart and that the people spoke loud and clear on who they wanted to be their president this time around. More than ever before.

A friend of mine put it well as a prayer. One that I would encourage any of my praying friends to echo.

So before closing I want to bless Obama, as a King under a King in
heaven, we pray for wisdom and revelation, dreams and visions,
encounters with Jesus, we bless his health, we bless his marriage and
family, we ask for his protection, download divine understanding, may he
wear Your yoke, may he look to You Lord, may he walk in justice and
mercy, stir desire in him for Your word and Your presence, may he walk
in righteousness and in Your commands, In Jesus Name.

Amen.

In other news. Jacqui and myself will be getting a newsletter out soon. With lots of info about what’s going on. Also possibly a new blog that we write together on. I’ll keep this one up to put more of ‘my’ thoughts and musings down as time allows. So stay tuned.
